Most immaculate HS-9 I've ever seen. This must also be either a proto, very early model or very late model as all of the retail units I've seen come with a detachable base just like the dynamo HS-5. yours also has leather style t molding, including a t molding groove on the bottom of the front and back panels.

it does not have the bolts in the bottom sides either. the coindoor is odd and adjustable so im guessing very late model. the control panel is unmolested joystick 6 button witha plexi overlay no tb holes

Yep. looks like so. The coin door is a much later Happ version. Earlier versions came with coin controls coin doors and your Happ door also has the later version coin mech holder.

Is it plywood or particle board sides? They made a version that was all plywood construction. They also made a number of these using dowel construction that were not sturdy over time.

think partical? see pic

I'm eyeing your Simpson PCB, and i have a SHIT ton of NOS SFII/Capcom Artwork (from various versions of SFII). Couple boards too, a SFII, and a Hyper Fighting (the HF might need a ROM chip re-burnt).
