Clay's (multigame.com) JAMMA switcher firmware bug and missing trace

I thought this might save someone a lot of frustration. If you recently (maybe in the last few years?) purchased one of Clay's (multigame.com) Jamma switchers, there are two known issues...
The latest batch of remote switch boards is missing a trace. (See below for the fix) Also it appears the main controller board has a firmware issue that affects the free play functionality.

At least one other member was having these problems as discussed over in behrmr's for sale thread here: https://q222.webmagic.net/index.php?threads/395217/

The firmware issue presents itself when you set up the board in freeplay mode. When "P1 Start" is pressed a 2 player game is started on the selected game. The "P2 Start" button does nothing at all. You can't start a single player game. The work around is to use the switcher in coin/pay mode and set up the your games for free play (if you want free play). The only down side is ALL the games (even the ones you aren't playing) will start when you press start. So it gets a little annoying when you switch games and there is already a game in progress.

In addition, the remote switch boards are missing a trace that is used for coinup (in pay/coin mode) and Start (in free play mode). The image below shows how the fix the missing trace. Note that this fix does not help the freeplay issue mentioned above.
