I just reinstalled my old SW/ESB kit and though star wars seems okay ESB is doing a frequent reset. When doing the self test everything "beeps" fine but underneath the screen says "verisum b735". I don't know if that's supposed to be there or not but a quick google search shows an old article by clay on the official Atari ESB kit that describes the same problem (resetting) as being caused by EPROMs being reversed on the daughtercard. However, on clays kit there aren't any EPROMs you can reverse so I'm at a loss. Can anyone think of what to do to fix this? I'm hoping clay himself will see this and chime in as well... I want me some ESB! ;-)

Thanks in advance.

Hi there... I have clay's 3.1 kit (manual with pics on his multigame.com site).

I tried something last night that might have worked. I swapped the wires that lead from the daughter card to the avg board and sound board. According to his manual they're interchangeable but given that I'd read about reversed EPROMs causing the resetting in the original Atari kits I wondered if this might be a similar phenomenon. It might have reset one time since I made the swap but I wonder if I accidentally grounded something to cause the reset because after a few games it didn't reset again.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

Any additional insight is appreciated, just in case! ;-)
