classic vid with multiple copies of games side-by-side

My mouth hung open to see the Tempest lineup at 5:25...

Right after that you see a lineup of Stargates.......

Then 3 Defenders............

Then the Tempests again at 7:38.... :D

Think it would be cool if someone made a montage like this with clips showing the games evolve over time, with music of the era to go with it.

games

i like to see 3 or four of the same games lined up.reminds me of the mega arcades in coney island. playland was one, remember seeing 5 ms pacmans, 5 trons, many of the same games lined up together in groups and still having to wait to play!

I think if I ever *did* see multiple game instances at one location in my youth, it was probably at the Boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach, DE, or mayyyyybe in a Showbiz/Chuck E Cheese. I'm speculating though, I have no locked-in memory of having seen multiple games of the same name side-by-side. I always drool when I see pics of other places that had them set up that way.

Did anyone notice that two of the three Defenders at 6:33 are prototypes? Check out the front art on the center machine and the one on the right:

maybe I am not seeing it right but around 3:08 into the video they show a tron high score and it sure looks like it's over 1 million. (tron rolls over at 1 million back to zero)
