So I am about to pickup my first tablet this holiday season.. An Android
powered one called the Asus Transformer Prime.

So what are my options for classic gaming on this thing? Has mame been
ported to android? Any other emulators?

How about native andoid games? Whats my best option for playing a
quick game of pacman or other classics? I understand that some tablets
can use a bluetooth/wifi joystick controller?

This will actually be my first android device. So far we've been and iphone
family.

Ah yes the quad core android tab. Supposed to be the best of the best. Mame was ported to android but forget what it was called.

just search for mame in the app store and you will find it. I would suggest hooking up a gamepad (or better yet, arcade controls); it is pretty hard to play some of those games on the touchscreen.

Thanks Guys.. I'm going to lookk into a bluetooth game controller for this thing. Hopefully that will do the trick.

Good choice, I have the same tablet. An NMR professor that I work with said when he used to build computers he always used Asus motherboards because they were the best. I believe him, it's awesome.

I do t uses make on my tablet but I do use snes tg16 and new which all play 100% perfect and wii pads are Bluetooth and play great. I personally love to play snes on my tablet with the wii classic remote or I use the HDMI out and connect to a TV sometimes. Android tablets rule because of this. On apple the tablets need to be jailbroken as where android comes open and can do all of these things out of the box.

Looks like some support bluetooth game pads.. anyone have a good recommendation for one? Do xbox or ps3 controllers do bluetooth? I like the more modern style molded controllers vs the older flat nintendo style.
