I think I know of that building. Family and I took 79 back from Hannibal last summer and ate at some small diner/restuarant sorta across the street. It was empty then.

Yep, there's a diner right across the street. There looks to be some sort of golf game with a trackball in the lineup now.

Just went by on my way to Hannibal... still there!

Ok, so, I just thought I'd bless the Google gods with an update.

I was driving up to Hannibal, taking the scenic route on 79, and I about turned the car into traffic as I shouted "PINBALL!!!!".

It is _still_ not googleable as a restaurant in Winfield, MO or on Google Maps. Still seems to be called "Taverna Restaurant". And I could clearly see the games through that distinctive, angled window storefront.

I'm just hoping to heck they're open on the holiday Monday when we drive back!

Thanks to the original poster for documenting it so well. So, the number of St. Louis area pinball arcades is starting to rise up. cppinball, Silver Ballroom, 3rd Rail Bar and Grill, and now Taverna in Winfield.

Kinda awesome!
