I'll assume that is a single cabinet Mame machine not 60 cabinets right (confusing since you said the word "collection")? They aren't hard to build, so without pictures I can't answer your question.

It is a single cabinet. (I also said all in One)here is the list of just a few of the games all in one

It sounds like a single game with a 60-1 in it. 650 could be a good or bad deal, no way of knowing without seeing pics. In general, it is high, since you can build them for much cheaper depending on what extent you want to go to. Around here multis usually go for anywhere from 450-1000 depending on the cabinet, artwork, controls, etc.

I just wanted to make sure when you said "all in one" you didn't mean all in one lot, as opposed to all in one cabinet (which you didn't specify), relax Francis, you asked for help was just trying to clarify. :) The word "collection" does not apply to a multi board, which aided in the confusion, though for that price it was safe to assume a 60-1 board.

It's not a bad looking machine if you don't have the time, skills, or friends that do, to do it yourself.

Yeah, the price is fair for that cab- if you really don't feel like just making you're own. That would take about 5-7 days to sell at that price in my area.

looks like a $400-$500 machine to me

looks decent, but I hate the monitor so in your face, no trackball not enough buttons.

one man's opinion

not like he's asking $1400 or something

$650 isn't bad, probably fair

and think of it this way, if you get a sky shark pcb, you can slam it right in there.
So it makes sense for you, based on some previous threads.

Doesn't seem out of line. The 60 in 1's around here seem to ask about 700 to 1000. I think that's way too much. You might be able to put one together and save some money. Depends on how much your time is worth. If you're going to start collecting/ fixing games, it's nice to have one that works in the meantime. It sucks to have people over and have a bunch of shit that doesn't work. They have a hard time seeing the vision. Yeah, and we all thought your were buying 60 cabinets of games for $650. Just kidding.

You guys are so funny. The dude doesn't know the difference between an arcade collection and a multi-board, you don't honestly think he is going to "put one together" do you? :) Shit I can barely do that. ;)

$500-$700 is probably about the best you can hope to get one of those for.

the price seems fair for him as well, since he was thinking of having a sky shark shipped to him if he could fine one.

Now he saves the price of shipping, gets a decent looking cab, and can pick up a sky shark pcb for like $50 and be set.

go for it dude.
try to weasel him down $100 or so. walk in with cash

edit and most of us have overpaid for a game as newbies. I surely did for my first game. So it's good you are asking questions. If you were considering paying $1200, we would all say NO!

Thanks guys for your help he said the board control panel joystick, buttons is new.
I also like the idea of throwing a sky shark pcb in it. I,m going in the morning to check it out. It's about an hour and half drive. Sorry if I offened anyone I,m new and don't understand the Arcade language just yet.

That's a Dynamo HS-5, which is the best general purpose JAMMA cabinet ever made in my opinion. It has a 25" monitor which can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and a pullout tray behind the control panel for mounting the power supply and game board. The HS-5 was the dedicated cabinet for Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, and it was a very popular conversion cabinet.

If it is really in "very good condition" like he says, at the very least you will get a nice, versatile JAMMA cabinet if you buy it. I think it is overpriced though, and that artwork is horrible. A 60-in-1 board is only like $100 new (depending on where you buy it; may be cheaper used). The cabinet itself is a good one (the remnants of the lockbars notwithstanding), but not $550 worth of good.

If I wanted that particular arrangement, I'd buy a cheap working JAMMA machine and then buy the 60-in-1 board and plug it in. That could be done for about half of $650 (or less), and you'd probably even end up with some real arcade artwork on the cabinet to boot, instead of that uninspired, randomly cobbled together inkjet stuff.

looks fine to me, no price rape evident. seller deserves to make a couple bucks. i think its ugly, but hey, its plug and play!
