I picked these up today. All are from 1981.

None are working but all are complete. The Omega Race looks amazing, plays blind but unfortunately has some recent water damage. I need to let it dry before I figure out how bad it really is but that was the worst part of this whole deal.

The Cosmic Avenger comes on, monitor appears to work but the PCB throws up colored blocks and repeats a sound effect. The condition of the cab is excellent. It looks almost brand new.

The DK is very clean but has no power coming out of the main transformer.

I'm really excited about all of these finds. Omega was definitely on my want list. Paid $85.00 for each.

With Omega Race being a vector chances are pretty high you can find a stripped out cabinet to transplant your parts into with a little sniffing around.

I'm hoping that's the case. This game is absolutely beautiful and will look awesome next to my Gorf.

Omega Race has tons and tons of dead cabs around because of the damn battery leaking and eating the boards, so finding a replacement if you need it shouldn't be too difficult. BTW have you taken care of the battery yet? If not do so ASAP while the thing still apparently works.

And also Cosmic Avenger's cab kicks some serious ass.

I opened the back and the battery was removed a long time ago. PCB looks excellent with absolutely no acid damage.

LOL. Well, obviously the monitor needs work, but it had blown the 300MA fuse in the monitor. I replaced that fuse and the game came right up. I played a few rounds and it looks like everything else is good order.

It has some foldover issues, but at least I know what's involved in fixing that! :)

The Cosmic Avenger now lives. I pulled all the EEPROM's from the PCB and cleaned the contacts with an eraser on a number 2 pencil. I also lightly used a high grit sand paper on the edge connector of the PCB. That's all it really needed:

The tube needs to be degaussed.

Thats cool, good pickups, been looking for a cosmic avenger for some time now...:)
