CL: (not mine) Two Tigers, name that cabinet...

So technically, the tron sideart could still be under the Two Tigers side art...

I wonder how easy/hard it would be to pull off the TwoTigers art.

Yes. That is always a "don't know" until you try. If they painted over the Tron art first I would think that would make it easier to remove the TT art without damaging the Tron art.

From what I can see of the cabinet it doesn't look too bad.

Yep, if it were cheaper I'd pick it up just for the cabinet. I have a fixer-upper Tron whose cabinet is a little rough. Plus, there's always a chance there are leftover Tron parts/pieces inside.....

$200 doesn't sound firm for the machine. Sounds like there is some wiggle room.

Right, but since I'd just be wanting the cabinet - I wouldn't want to pay more than say $75 or $100. I'm not too excited about lowball'n them just for the cabinet.

keep in mind the monitor is raised and horizontal. Even if you find the shroud, it might be jacked up and a mess to get it back to proper position. Not to mention the the light fixtures are probably all gone...

Still, nice looking cabinet... Might be worth the $500 in parts and art to get it back to shape.

I've got both. I bought a Two Tigers because it had a nicer cab than my Tron, but it ended up looking so nice that I hunted down a couple of missing parts and restored it. The game is not great, but the artwork is cool.

On the cabinet mods, I can remember that they removed material (wood rails?) and added brackets for the monitor. So you'll have to rebuild that. Also, it is a custom control panel. You could reuse the spinners, but that's the only thing on the CP that could be used on the Tron.

The bracket and bulb from behind the CP is missing and the background artwork is also removed during the conversion process.

There may be other stuff, but it's been so long since I've been inside the cabinet that I may have missed something.

Not part of the conversion, but still interesting is that the cabinet back doors are not interchangeable between my two machines.
