CL, anyone ever play this game? space gun.

i had 1 a couple yrs back. overall it's a fun game, but as with all these type of shooters it looses it's replay value rather fast. i was tired of mine in about 2 months. add in the fact that it's huge and freakin heavy as hell.... ugh. but, if ya like these shooters than i'd say grab it.

it's 1 saving grace to me is it looks cool as hell.....lol

I saw these at Super Auctions back in the late 90s quite often. Never played it, and never was attracted to the cabinet design...its kinda fugly, looks like a blue placenta that ran into a sea shell. I could imagine how heavy that cab must be with all that exterior crap on it, plus it's that heavy blocky Taito design. Hey, if its a game you've always wanted, then go for it.

That cab is BIG and HEAVY, game play about a 6.5 out of 10 good for about 6 months depending on your level of ADD.

Cab is as heavy as any other shooter. My buddy has two. The cab is made to look like something out of "aliens". The shells are hollow plastic and can be removed.

I played it when I was younger. I don't think it was anything spectacular, but if it's a good deal and you've got room, then go for it!

Also, what this picture fails to show is the foot pedal box. Down below, each player has a pedal button which controls reverse motion on the rail-shooter. Kind of cool and can be thought of as a predeccessor to Time Crisis. The cabinet is surprisingly narrow too.

The guy just emailed me back, he wants $500 for it. By the post I thought it was $500 for all 3. I wont be getting it.

Overpriced. Fun game, but $300 fun.

Yeah, the way I read the ad, I assumed it was $500 for all three as well.

Stay away. I bought one of these years ago for $200.00. Played it for one night, maybe two, and then could hardly give the thing away. The problem with games like this is once you beat them, you have absolutely ZERO desire to fire it up again.

Someone ended up taking it for a hundred bucks because they desperately needed the monitor. I am sure the cabinet wound up behind a grocery store one night.

I was happy to be rid of it, though.
