Well for some time I've been wondering how I was going to handle this. I've been looking around for a replacement grill but maybe just not in the right places.
So, I went ahead and tried to work with what I had. Here's after sandblasting.
Can't really tell much by that until you start getting some coating on it. First I tried to hammer out the dings I knew that were in there. I thought I was fairly successful. So I began painting.
Ok, well maybe this might turn out. All was good until I took it down from the line and tilted it toward the sun.
The only thing I can think to do is find a replacement for this. This is with a Black Satin, so it's not supposed to be too reflective. But there's just no hammering these out.
Does anyone know of a source for NOS or reproduction speaker grills that will fit a Cinematronics Rip-Off cabinet?
