Considering selling my Cinematronics Solar Quest. The game just does not get much play from anyone other than me during get togethers/parties.
The bottom 8 inches of the cabinet has been replaced due to water damage. I am no professional wood worker but think I did a decent job. The original bottom was so swollen that it was difficult to make measurements. It is not perfect but looks good. Artwork was traced around with a razor blade and the original white vinyl was removed. Artwork was then covered and I repainted the cabinet white. Front was also painted black. New t-molding.
Monitor has had a lot of parts replaced. Mainly everything that is mentioned or recommended in the CINE FAQ. Monitor also has a brand new tube. New DAC80s and LF13331.
I initially was having issues with the game and was not sure if it was a monitor issue or PCB issue. The PCB was sent out to Mark at Cinelabs and he ran the board on his test rig for over 700hrs without any problems. After all the replacement parts on the monitor, the LF13331 ended up being the issue. There is still a few things left to do on the game like remove the odd green paint splatters(mainly on coin door) and paint the front edge of the control panel.
There is one small sound issue. When the fire button is pressed rapidly, the sound tends to drown out/distort. I am not sure if this is normal or not(guessing not). Never seen another to confirm. Other than the sound issue, the game plays great and monitor looks superb. The star backdrop is in great condition and looks awesome with the black light.

I am asking $900 obo. Will consider pinball trades.
