Does anyone here have the Cinematronics game called "Freeze"?

I really liked this game when it came out, but for some reason it didn't seem to do well, because I only knew of one or two places that had it. I managed to get 1 million points on the game and what was cool was that the score showed all seven digits.

VAPS is useless for searching for the quantity of a particular game and it's distribution. And I remember a conversation with another competitive gamer in California who told me that the game had done so bad that OPs sold them back to the distributer.

Nevertheless, I thought it was far better than most of the games at the time.

Edit: I didn't know that YouTube allowed over an hour for recordings, but here is a "very bad" player playing the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEieFZ3K9Gw

Thanks.

Never seen that game before. Thanks for posting about it. Reminds me a little of the console game H.E.R.O. from Activision. I loved that game on my C64. Great game if you've never played it.

Good Luck!

Not much to look at on the flyer, huh? No artwork to speak of.

It does look alot like H.E.R.O. - That WAS a great game. Activision rocked!

I have never seen a Freeze however. Wonder how many were made.
