Cinematronics Space Wars FS

Last call, last call.. I have a Cinematronics Space Wars for sale. In the process of moving and looking to get what I have invested in it. $350. See pictures below. Cabinet needs some cosmetics but the game does indeed work. Missing back door also. Thank you.

No say it isnt so. Cant you take it with you????

I could but I don't know if I can haul the beast all the way down in the basement, maybe I'll dismantle it if it doesn't sell! I'm just testing the waters here...

Why is there no love for this game? I've got 3 units and one in a box. I can't take another one as I'm out of cash. Please somebody save this unit. It is better than any of my 3. I've been looking for this game for years and have bought 2 in the last 3 months. Somebody stop me.

Very tempting. Not one of my "must own" games, but close...very close. Is it as heavy as it looks? Is there something strange about the side art? The "C" doesn't look correct on the right side.

That's because the decal has been removed at that side. If this doesn't sell within the week it's gonna stay. I'll have to dismantle this puppy and add it in the restoration forums when the time for it begins. This cab is as heavy as it looks-- correct!

Change of heart, willing to part this puppy out. PM me with what you need/want

Everything was working before the move on 1-29-10 (Played a few games before loading up on the truck):

PCB set $150

Tansformer $50

Harness $25

control panel $75

Monitor $125

Coin door $20

Maquee $25

Shroud $20

Coin door (make an offer)

Prices don't reflect shipping....Anything else, just PM me on. I need the space here in the new home and as it sits, it's in the insulated garage. I'm not putting this puppy down in the arcade due to it's size and footprint.

that's a cool game, I hope someone steps up and buys it whole.

hope this happens very soon for you.

Jimmy, still willing to buy it whole here. How long can you hold it? Maybe we can still make a deal. Where did you move?

I'm still over here in Kasson, about a mile from my old place. Having trouble with the people who bought our home. I hate moving, trouble after the fact after everything is said and done...

Shawn It can stay here for a while, but not too long. What time-frame are you looking at? I'm thinking a couple weeks here, tops.

Oh shit, that sucks big time. They aren't calling for backsies are they?

We bsically did a house swap with them. The home here was built in 2004, they were the original owners. They suggested the house swap thingie since they wanted to downsize, no brainer here since we got asking as well as they. Trouble is lurking maybe because she's unhappy and a neat freak? She's wanting compensation for cleaning our former home. Nothing like that was in writing either-- I dunno, this sucks as well as the move on top of all that. Boxes galore here too. My new game room is way smaller that in the old house, go figure? Moving to a bigger place doesn't necessarily mean bigger rooms to boot! I have my computer room smashed in along with the 4 remaining games.

Jim - what does your Realtor say about the supposed cleaning bill?

Usually, if it's not spelled out in the paperwork, it's Tough Noogies.

However, boilerplate residential purchase contracts usually include stipulations that the house will be clean (as in move-in habitable-clean, not totally spotless).

Having a one-time housecleaning service do a basic clean of a house your size should be about $150.00 in this area, in my experience.

What amount are they claiming?

RM

She's claiming on the low-end of $250. I talked to my Realtor and she usually mentions stipulation in the purchase agreement of $150 for cleaning, not the case this time. I'm trying to be the nice-guy here but $250, ca'mon! Me and the wifey had a long discussion about this since there is unfinished business to tend to with them in the Spring (moving a swing set, outdoor crap, etc.) since it cannot be addressed with the snow/frost currently. I figured they're SOL on their end since the paperwork has been signed. I had intentions of giving them some money but--not their asking amount-- that's almost admitting that we left it trashed, in which case we did not. It is in move-in condition, not to a lab-standard that she's expecting however. We were still moving out the same day as our closing was still too. Just another headache for sure.

I would say - try to be the nice guy.

It's clear from the agreement that you have no obligation to pay a professional to clean the house, and you thought you left it in reasonably clean condition.

BUT...you are a reasonable fellow, so you will hire a pro cleaning service of your choice to do a basic clean of the whole house at your expense OR she can have $150.00 to do the same.

That or nothing at all.

RM

Tell the Realtor to take the $250 out of her commission = everyone happy.

That's basically what I suggested, or take it from their Realtor's commission. I already sent off the email telling them tuff luck.

Russ,

She already hired a carpet cleaner to do the only room with carpet. She already went ahead and had the house cleaned by her and the rest of her family. She's got a number in her head from what other professionals charge apparently. Anyway, Space Wars is still available!
