I don't think he's joking. I was looking at a Virtua Cop 2, and had checked it out before the auction and it was missing the back, and had an AC adapter in the back of it(never seen that before). The bidding started, and everything seemed to work(guns registered, monitor fairly clear), but there was no sound. HE had one of his guys start adjusting the volume knob, but all you gould hear was scratchy static. Once the bidding got up to my cutoff point he kind of looked at me like "well?", and I told him, there was no sound coming out of it, plus I started to notice graphics glitches. He basically said "What do you expect?", and I said " A game that works!", and that was the end of that. The price was not terrible, but I am not gonna buy a game that has issues just because. No offense if a K-Lover got the game, as it wasn't a bad deal, it just wasn't for me, and his attitude put me off...
And people wonder why there aren't a lot of attendees at auctions anymore...they need the business too (the auctioneers)....
