All right guys this is what I have.
I bought 4 of these at an auction and they do not work.
They are ELO touch screen monitors.
They have Chunghwa 17" CRT Monitors in them
Model # M41AGE93X46 C (EL)
The sticker on the side says ELO Model ET1787C-45WA-1
Manf. Jan 2005
100-240v 1.5a 60/50 Hz
They all seem to have blown monitor fuses so I am assuming they need cap kits done which I have never done before now.
Questions are 1. Where do I find the right resistors and stuff to do this with.
and 2. When I get these working can I use them as regular arcade monitors without the touch screens?
3. Does anybody have any other info on these monitors. I have been to ELOtouch.com but haven't really found anything really helpful yet.
But haven't spent a bunch of time there yet either.

Thanks for any help.

That is nothing more than the tube manufacturer and tube model number.

The 1787C is what's most important to get ya going in the right direction.

Resistors are not involved with "cap kits" ..... cap = electrolytic capacitors.
I highly doubt you will find a "kit" for this model. (but I could be wrong)
You may have to piece one together by making a complete list of the capacitors and ordering them individually, make your own kit basically.

2. When I get these working can I use them as regular arcade monitors without the touch screens?

Touchscreens are merely an ADD-ON to an existing monitor. I don't care what brand/make/model or whatever you have..... the "touchscreen" is independent of the "monitor" itself.
The touchscreen controller may get it's power from the chassis, but that's it.
So yes, you can use it as just a monitor with or without the touchscreen function. They are pretty much just an open frame VGA monitor. 800x600 - 648x480 - 1024x768 (like the 17" ones a lot of folks throw away these days)

3. Does anybody have any other info on these monitors.

I have a couple things that may help along the way.
Shoot me a PM with your e-mail address.
