Chuck...just wanted to know if you can put together another order for the front screen for Punch Out...I think there is enough people that might want one...Thanks!

I am currently having a local plastic fabricator manuf one for me, he says he can do it fairly easily, I will be getting a cost this week sometime, I will post it for a list of folks if its decent, we may get a deal if he does multiple too...judging by his quality and prices for me on other projects, I am optimistic...

Any News on this yet? Thanks!

I'd be in for one... perhaps 2... depending on price. Was Chuck the guy who had them done last time perfectly (as in with the black order and all)?

I will have an answer this week on price, if anyone wants them, I will post in this thread later what that entails. I could care less if you buy them from someone else, as I will not be making money on this, just frustrated that there are never any out there..

Well I have a price, and from the fabricator they will be the same tint that Chuck's was, in fact the only screen I have to use for model is one of Chucks so there you have it. Same 3/16" light grey smoked plexi. The fabricator is a plastics guy who that is all he does, and he notes that it will not be difficult at all to put the 10 degree bend in. Garbgeman let me borrow his for the fabricator to ensure they are correct. He can do orders of 6 at a time, but as the material is difficult to get as you may remember from Chucks run of these, there are no smaller pieces available for a test run only the 8x4 sheet raw.

Price will be $75 shipped but will NOT have the boarder, he did not want to mess with it. This may be a deal breaker for some, if mine does need it, I will have to lay my own vinyl and cut or paint the backside boarder flat black. Chucks repro was raised to $100 shipped so you can see the cost is about the same. I realize its not an exact repro, but mine previously had the glass on it and it was all fooked up, I saw Chucks and it was nice. I am too anxious to be waiting for another as I am close on my restoration, Chuck had to go to great deal of trouble to get this done, and I anticipate the same for me, but, it is the same material and appears to be exactly the same tint. If anyone is interested let me know. I would need 5 others. Hope this can help a few guys out.......

ok so $75 without boarder...Can you put a boarder on? If so what will it be then $100 shipped?

This is a PM directly from Chuck in December:

"Sorry guys. It looked like there was some interest when I opened my PM's but only three of you responded. Looks like there won't be another run.
Thanks for your interest.

Charlie "

see my above post if you have not yet. I am able to put a border on mine, but I would buy this knowing its not on there. I am a normal guy with a 9-5 and kids so I dont do this all day...hence you may just do this yourself, as the fabricator will not. Still, $75 shipped is what it will cost if you want one, just pm me if you do..I am looking fwd to my cab being finished

Hi guys. Sorry.....I haven't been here for a while and I don't get notified by email when I get PM'd. I read all your posts and appreciate all your confidence.

If I get at least 6 committments via PM I'll call my fabricator on Monday. He has worked all the little kinks out (minor bubbling at the bend) and the borders are lazer cut, so they're perfect. He packs really well and there has been no problem with shipping.

At last check they were $85 plus $15 s&h. If you get 2 the s&h only goes to $20. I can take payment with Pay Pal now too.

Let me know. Sorry for the delay.

Chuck
