That would be the neutral lead that's soldered to the main power switch. The nice thing about this configuration is that with the main switch in the off position, everything is still hot. All it needs is a good path to ground! Also, terminals.

There was post awhile back on RGP about a hacks topic. Trying to find pics... anywho, a string of christmas lights was used for the playfield GI to the backbox!

a lot of the arcade machines at Dave and Busters have the service switches in the front. I wonder if anyone got courageous enough to flip one of the switches.

Those switches typically light a white light above the game so a server or a game fixer (the folks in a referee shirt) can come see what the issue is.

Wow...I thought my Pole Position was really hacked bad to the point I didnt want to show anyone..dam thing plays good so why mess with it...EVB....your guy did my game to, lol.

No Discn McGyver he is the man!...who else can weld a hang glider together in the jungle with quarters and a battery and fly the hell out of there with the bad guys on your heals...lol.

i don't have a pic, as i fixed it, but on my wizard of wor, someone screwed the credit switch directly under the coin slot so it would coin up as the mechs were missing.

The last Tempest I restored had wood screws all the way through the cabinet sides that poked through just above the control panel. All I could figure was that they were there to hold the control panel down, which didn't make any sense because the latches were still there and worked fine.
