I'll be picking up a handfull of cabs, selling a few and keeping 1 or 2.
Machines I *Know* are available(A few I cant remember).
I've got enough $$$ for probably 4 or 5 cabs.
I know there is(There are more then this):
Asteroids cocktail(Original atari)
Race Drivin
Super Hang On
Blitz 2000
A few mounted gun games
Maybe a golden tee
Fishing?
Atari cocktail(Gameless, but works)
Black tiger

What would you recommend getting? What would you recommend restoring/keeping?
I'll be selling my megatouch and I already sold my cocktail for 300$(I wish I could get a capkit for that....Bob hasn't heard of the monitor, I'll be selling the uprights for a fair bit more, the cocktail was just a generic horizontal one)

I'd grab the Asteroids (It is a vector and could be a very good learning experience), Black Tiger (a cool one player game), Blitz 2000 (four player fun, if you have friends that is :p ). If the GT is in good shape it seems to be in fairly high demand so reselling it should be relatively easy.

As for the others, I don't know what I'd grab. If the mounted gun games are old electro mechanical machines I'd grab one, again if you don't like it it is still a good learning tool and should be fairly easy to resell.

I have plenty of friends :p, I actually have a life!
I wish the mounted gun games were EM, Em gun games are amazing.
Golden Tee would be VERY easy to sell and I planned on picking up the asteroids so long as the monitor somewhat works.

I really hope the weather holds up next week so I can pick these up...

How hard would fixing broken plastic be? I know some plastic on it has cracks/holes in it.

Nothing wrong with a some road rash on a Super Hang On.

Some of those holes are for body screws. Holes and cracks can be backed by pieces of carbon fiber or kevlar, which are easier to work with, stronger, and thinner than fiberglass. Cut a piece of fiber larger than the repair, saturate it in 2-part epoxy and lay it on the inside of the body shell. Be sure to sand and clean the area first.

I hated sports games until I landed the original Blitz. Fell in love with the Blitz series and eventually upgraded to a sportstation. I also concur on Blitz

My stepfather is a big sports fan...he wants blitz hahaha.

Then pick it up. It is always a good thing to keep the person paying the bills happy. If there is some game in particular that your mother wants it is a good idea to find one of those as well.

She loves frogger, and is content enough playing it on mame :p.

Still deciding....I wish uhaul trucks weren't so expensive otherwise I'd rent one.

Looking at the list, i'd recommend waiting for better games to pop up. Love asteroids deluxe but in the UR version. Do you have any most wanted games in mind? If any of these are on it then go for it, if not then wait for something you really want.

I like asteroids and some others there, I can't really be selective with the games I get around here...There aren't very many.
