Nov 28, 2023: A few days ago we ran a routine, minor upgrade on our SQL database. Much to surprise, we learned today that it prevented a number of our users from logging into our forums, or using other parts of our site. It turned out that the SQL database update took it upon itself to move it's configuration file offline. Without it, the site didn't work correctly, though it wasn't obvious since it continued to be used. The configuration file has been restored and hopefully all is better now.

The ultimate Halloween game that my kids will never be allowed to play.

Started with a trashed cabinet with a few parts inside and a marquee and that's pretty much it.

New T-molding
New Locks
New Vinyl Casters
New Power Cord
New Speakers
New Marquee Light Fixture/Bulb
New Buttons
Rebuilt the gun components, optics, etc.
New HAPP coin doors
New inside glass mirror (replaced plexiglass)

Cosmetics:

Gun Stock from a whodunnit looked cool so i powder coated it (BK-1 texture)
New custom monitor bezel i designed - reverse printed on plexiglass
NOS control panel overlay (not applied in these pix (using repro for now)
New Exidy Logo vinyl cut decals i made
Original Marquee
New hand-cut matte board monitor bezel, side, top, etc.
New Exidy coin door decal I made
Custom Exidy logo inserts and LEDs

Electronics:

COLLEX'N multi board installed with power boost directly from power supply to compensate

Stellar work... As much as I like to see a well preserved, original machine with patina, I love to see a worse off machine get restored and preserved like this.

Thanks Joey. Yeah this thing was hammered, ill see if I have any before pix but i remember the control panel was split so bad you could slide a waffle through the opening and every time I moved the cabinet a new pile of debris would show up in the bottom. And I remember the control panel was apparently the arcades only ash tray.

So, the cabinet was basically unusable? I have a couple of projects where the cabinet is just a loss and rather than have a pile of parts, I want to go the restore the whole game route, which will require a fresh cabinet.

I think you owe us a photo of all these pristine games together in one room and turned on. It's the least you could do for us. :)

Made a couple (removable) instruction decals. Made out of the same control panel material. These cover the START BUTTONS
