Today we had our annual United Way charity Chili Cook-off. This year's theme was Totally 80's so I offered to bring a few games to help decorate our department's booth. Pac Man and Galaga both made it through the day without any issues, so I was happy about that. The folks in charge of our booth decided to charge 1 ticket per game on each of the machines (which I was opposed to, as the tickets were being sold for $1 each), but I know they were just trying to maximize the amount of money we raised. Out of the crowd of about 300 I was happy to see many people play a game of Pac or Galaga. In the end our booth was awarded the prize for "People's Choice" for collecting the most tickets overall. Our booth alone collected over $610 for the United Way today!
