Hey what kind of hardware and monitors came in the chicago gaming multigames at bjs and sams clubs????? Are these worth a crap??? I think it was extreme arcade and had lunat lander, tempest and 48 other games mostly atari..

Sorry I searched this and Ken Layton had a thread about this..Sears had them for 599.00 looks a little cheap.. i just want to gut it anyway...

They were cheap crap. Don't pay more than $25 IMHO.

Update on this Machine

Well I picked my cab up today and actually am pretty happy with it..Controls feel great, has a 19 in vga monitor that looks nice and cab is very solid...Best part of all has a taito multi bd in it with 50 games on it ( tempest, arkanoid, lunar lander, black widow, jungle hunt, crystal castles, zookeeper, asteroids, asteroids deluxe, elevator action, and 39 more....)
For what I paid it was a steal!!!!!!!!!

Fun to play when u just want to sit down and play a game......I know no coin door etc.. But pretty damn cool.......If I could hook up a spinner and trackball I would be pumped...

Did you ever hook up a spinner and trackball? I'm thinking about picking one of these up for $275. I'm surprised it doesn't have them

Surprisingly these things are not commonly found in club (Sam's), they typically sell them online, but they are like $1500.00 approximately. I've been working for Sam's Club for at least 4 years now and have yet to see anything like that in club. I've actually seen a few at Sears though, sold in store a few years ago. Might not be a high demand around here though in Houston, TX

Edit: I checked it out online again, different cabinet, but this one has a trackball built in for those types of games. Newer one I suppose......would explain the price........ http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod1160028
