I picked up a project machine a couple weeks ago and it's missing the circuit board. Is this needed for operation or is it just for sounds? I don't have a schematic yet. The score motor spins continuously. Thanks

It will work without the card, but you'll be missing the cheers and whistles. I love World Series; I'm in the process of scanning all of the interior artwork now.

Good luck! Let me know if you need any pictures or other help.

That's great news! Thanks for the offer, the first thing I'll need to sort out is why the motor runs continously. Out of curiousity what happens if there are no balls loaded into the machine?

The score motor is probably spinning continuously because something else is not resetting. I'm not sure if it checks to see if there are balls loaded or not, I haven't really gone through mine all that much. I do know that because my score and out steppers are nasty and not resetting that my score motor constantly runs as well.

I'm not sure (mine's apart at the moment), but it is very important to use 3/4" balls. A few of mine were too small, and some switches didn't register reliably as a result. You can buy them here. Marco also sells the schematic (very good quality).

I would check the score reel wipers to make sure they are all zeroed out. My CC isn't a pitch and bat, but was doing the same thing til it saw that all the score reels were at 0. Hope this helps.
