Nice machine!

It's sad this machine does not get more love. It is one of the best target shooters made. It was one of a last models so it has many more targets both moving and stationary that other EM's or this type. It also generates multiple sounds which is not common on these old games either. I should really try to capture a movie or some better game play shots because these do not do it justice. This machine has much more replay value and is more challenging than any of my other EM's target shooters.

Sharp Shooter

Question: Do you have any of the manuals / diagrams? I'm working one right now, and there is nothing on the web on it, it's so old.

If you have them, could you post them please? Thanks.

Hi,
Sorry I do not have a complete manual or schematic for this machine. Most of the sections are labeled inside the machine so it is still possible to troubleshoot most problems.

Found Schematics

Well, when I managed to drop the back panel without drilling the lock (used all my socket extension rods together through the coin door, and dropped the lock off!), I found the diagrams inside the game.

I also found two burned coils - one on the 10's counter, and one in the lower unit - both were the same type, and I found them at the Pinball Resource. The coils were melted on hard - I had to unspool the wire, and use my diagonal pliers to break off what was left of the coil and sleeve so I wouldn't bust the plastic parts.

I spent a lot of time cleaning - I think I'm going to try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser next to clean up some of the targets - they have stains that aren't coming out with mild cleanser.

The contacts look remarkably good. I burnished up all the pin connectors and sockets, so once the coils come in, we'll see what we get.

I'm also missing the trigger guard, so I'll look at some gun supply shops to see if I can find a replacement.
