Dad has had this machine in his inner garage room for 30+ years. Still works. I ordered a replacement rebound rubber kit as the extra strength bungee cord finally gave out. (was in place of rear rebound since I remember playing this 30 years ago)

So, how do i install this rebound rubber? I see screw holes in the play field for some type of hardware that the rebound rubber would affix to.

Anywhere to acquire the hardware? Does anyone have pictures of the hardware so i could fashion a workable replacement or, maybe glue/affix the rubber to the back wall?

Yes...after zooming in gave me an idea to use a metal bar and drill out some holes that align with the play field holes. Looks like i have to trim off the length of 'ear' on my replacement rebound rubber...and fill in that length of channel groove with a piece of wood...or just find a solid block piece of rubber. looks like in your pic the side uprights of the metal do not attach to the sides of the tower cabinet.

Found Dad's folder. Have schematics for the EM in case I need them...nothing on the playfield or cabinet in there. The Gottlieb Dancing Dolls I found the Original Gottlieb schematic...along with Dad's notes. He color coded some circuits...that will come in handy.

Oh, you will need them.

This is for pins. But the process is the same.

I am now wondering if that 'bungee cord' is part of the original installation and the rubber rebound goes over it (the channel in the rebound rubber) gives it extra "bounce"

Well, after not finding any info on what the original hardware looked like that affixed the rebound rubber behind the pins I came up with a (hopeful) solution. used a fence board and two 5/8" square dowels from Hobby Lobby. used wood screws to secure rear dowel and the bolts will need washers and lock washers to secure thru underside of lane. will update with results...need to clean and wax the alley and put back together.Bowler Rebound DIY 1.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 2.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 3.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 4.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 5.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 1.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 2.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 3.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 4.jpgBowler Rebound DIY 5.jpg

Stuff like this is hard to find answers for. Then we have to go our own way and make things up for ourselves. Thanks for posting your work.
