Hi, have a cheyenne sound problem. I checked all the voltages coming out of the power supply, checked the speakers make sure they weren't blown, re-seated the chips, and of course tried adjusting the pot.I also, re-seated the ribblon cable also. I am not getting any sound. I did noticed sometimes I get some kind of muffled crackling hight pitch noise sound, comes and goes.

>Any ideas what to check next or could be causing the problem? Game plays fine, no problems

Thanks for the help

I thought you were getting some sound. Just muffled or really low. If you are getting none at all replace the amp chip.

I dont know what it is,its really muffled, high pitch comes and goes sometimes, sometimes I hear it, sometimes I don't. Its like something is trying to come, but doesnt, I dont know. Any ideas where I can get the amp chip?

Got it, LM324.............I am going to order that and try that, and then take it from there.
