Nov 28, 2023: A few days ago we ran a routine, minor upgrade on our SQL database. Much to surprise, we learned today that it prevented a number of our users from logging into our forums, or using other parts of our site. It turned out that the SQL database update took it upon itself to move it's configuration file offline. Without it, the site didn't work correctly, though it wasn't obvious since it continued to be used. The configuration file has been restored and hopefully all is better now.

"Pale Face!"

My favorite Exidy shooter. Started this project last summer. Came with a lot of 9 of the nastiest Exidy cabinets you have ever seen. Cigarette burned bezel and CPO, wood splitting CPO, side art torn in half, water damaged and moldy inside. Gun non-working and barely held together. Inside paper bezel faded, stained and torn. Scratched and flaking marquee and on and on.

Cabinet and Hardware:

Built brand new black melamine cabinet
Stripped and powder coated CP, bolts, brackets, speaker mesh
Powder Coated coin doors, cleaned up coin bucket
New T-molding
New Locks
New Vinyl Casters
New button
New Coin Door

Cosmetics:

Rifle Metal powder coated.
Wooden stock was stripped to bare wood then stained and varnished.

Bezel: Scanned and rebuilt by me, ridiculous amount of time cleaning and fixing the artwork.
Reprinted on inside of new plexiglass.

Custom Exidy logo coin inserts and coin door decal

NOS Marquee
NOS CPO (unbelievably hard to acquire this)
New hand cut inner paper monitor bezel

New beautiful reproduction side art from ThisOldGame

Electronics:

NOS WG 19 Monitor
New Speakers
Restored power supply
Cleaned boards and wire harness
New Power Cord
New Marquee Light Fixture/Bulb

Another AMAZING Job! I can only hope to have results close to yours with mine.
Thanks as always for sharing!

Nice work, fizgig! Another quality job. I'm waiting on art from Rich and a couple rolls of t-molding to get mine closer to finished, too. I'm using some pieces from Crackshot on mine: the gun (although I love the wood look on the Cheyenne rifle) and the cool lit "C" buttons, which I think work great with Cheyenne.

Now if only a second run of the Exidy collection boards would happen! Regardless, I'm extremely envious of your collection of Exidy shooters. I imagine it must have been pretty tough and pretty expensive to track them all down.

Edit/addition: As an aside, I'd love to hear more about the process of recreating the bezel if you ever have the time. I'll need to track down a bezel for myself at some point. Did you print yours yourself?

I'm working with Rich to get the CPO and Bezel available for everyone. I printed my own bezel because I'm super impatient but both pieces will be available soon.

There have actually already been two runs of this kit. Although I never say never I think it's pretty unlikely that there will ever be a third run for the kit unless a great demand and long list of people willing to pay pop up. Then it might become a possibility but I know it was said that the most recent run would be the last.

Best option if you want one is probably to pony up the cash and buy one when/if it pops up for sale.
