I didn't see anything in those pics that needed to be saved.
Agreed, they all look like good fire wood.

Is it safe to burn MDF?
That's a lie. I care about TNT. TNT is a great company, ran by a great guy whos' done more for the collecting community than you and 10 of your hater ass friends have even thought about doing.
Somebody posted up a link to Todd talking about giving away 2 games to charity. That's the proverbial tip of the ice berg. He's given away more fully working games to charity than you've owned Table Wiz. Stop being a dick. Not everybody agrees with your negative-ass, hating-ass, bullshit-ass opinion.
Miss the point much ?
Doesn't matter how many kitties you save from trees, how many little old ladies you help across the street, or how many boxes of girl scout cookies you buy, coming on this forum after smashing up games and saying this :
"So off to the DUMP! THAT'S RIGHT!! The DUMP to be destroyed forever!!!"
is being a dick. I understand people throw out dead cabs, and most of those look pretty sad, but I don't understand the need of people like Todd to be a dick about it on here. And I never will.
Hey Arc. I parted a game last week. I took pictures of it as I cut it apart with a chainsaw. It was a quantem, or quantim, or something like that. Had a weird monitor that made a big 'pop' when I hit it with a baseball bat.
Not sure if this is quite the way Arc sees it, but I don't think there is a reason for smashing any games. Except profit. They are worth more as parts than they are as whole cabs.
There are many more boards and parts in existence than there are cabs for them at this point in time, but there are also a lot of people out there who want to take the easy way out. It's easier to buy a new board than it is to diagnose and repair an old one. And thanks to people like Todd destroying cabs wholesale, it is also cheaper.
I have nothing against Todd. He can run his business any way he chooses. I will not support him, though.
I'll admit I have "trashed" one cab. I gave it away to somebody who wanted to make a template of it. When he finishes, he and I can both build new cabinets to house the boards and CPs we have. And, hopefully, I can make a passable repro of the art for it by then.
I'ts ok. I am sure you have done enough for charity to offset it.
..just to try to irk, or 'stick it' to a small purist segment of the collecting community.
Correct me if I am wrong... but I do think the purpose of Todd's post was to lament on the fact that he offered up these cabs for FREE to people and only one person showed up before they had to be shit-canned?
I read his intent as a thumb to the nose of those that complain.
Maybe. However, he only posted it one time that I saw (after he already said they were gone), the post went up on a Saturday morning, and was never bumped. I read his intent as a thumb to the nose of those that complain. That's just my opinion, though, and I could be wrong.
That's exactly what it was. But he is thumbing his nose at people who are upset that he throws away VALUABLE parts by complaining that we aren't taking his TRASH.
