I have a Cherokee Shuffle Bowler that I recently picked up. It had some stcking relays I cleaned up and some of the discs were not returning when reset. Got eveything back to where it was and now it will not start a game. When turned on it lets me select number of players and game type. But, when I slide the puck it will not register to start the game. If I move or activate the game relays or actuators manually everything works sweet. Any ideas? I've been waiting on a manual for a couple weeks and am starting to get frustrated with it.

who makes your alley? I'm just guessing but you might check the game select unit for a place to start. It seems like it has credits but doesn't recognize what game it should play. As you probably already know, there are so many relays and contacts, it's generally a good plan to clean all connectors between the bottom of the machine and the back end along with all the switches but most people don't want to spend the many hours it takes to go threw all of them. Good luck on your machine.

Did it start before you "cleaned and lubed"? If it did work before retrace your steps and figure out what you "adjusted".

FYI, in case you don't know, there are VERY few places that should be lubed.

Check the steppers you took apart and make sure they are resetting properly, the springs need to be wound a certain number of times to work correctly. I'm wondering if one of your steppers isn't going back to the "home" position.
