I love my Tempest, but if I had a MH kit, I'd def think about getting a 2nd to convert.

Yep. The seller (very cool guy) and I agreed on a price, I gave him a deposit, and I'm picking it up tomorrow morning.

I'll post some pics when I get it home.

Sweet! Thanks, man. I'll probably start working on it next weekend. I'll post pics as I go along. I've never attempted anything like this, so it should be fun.

Rotating the monitor is really the only thing I'm a bit worried about. I also need to get a better understanding of wiring up the fan. I'm sure it's all spelled out in the conversion manual.

If anyone else who's done this has snapped pics of the process, I'd love to have a peek.

I just find it hard to believe you can ruin that Tempest when there are so many project games that would be better candidates. And before you start complaining about getting hassled over it, remember, it was you that started this thread making it look like you were excited to get a Tempest, only to have us click on the thread and find out what you really had in mind was ruining a nice game.

But in all seriousness, I'm done with this argument. You've made your point. Repeatedly. Yes, in hindsight "I'm looking at a Tempest on Friday and I'm-a-gonna kill it and I can't wait, and I'm an evil arcade supervillain MWAHAHAHAHA LOLLERSKAKES HUGS" would have been a better thread title.
