It looks like a lot of fun.... If you are on X and want to have some risky sex. j/k

It's cool that they are trying to bring gaming to a wider audience (I suppose?), but personally I have never been into the nightclub scene, which is what this looks to be.

I went in vegas, its downtown on the shitty edge of Fremont Street, a drunk bum was pissing on the side of the building next to it, and some seedy folks out front, but the actual place was nice and loaded with games. Heavy techno, which I actually dont mind, but my buddies wanted to bounce due to the low rent neighborhood, we were wearing suits, and stuck out pretty good.. Im sure this will do very well in the Twin Cities tho, and I will visit it when Im up there next..

Looks like a nice spot, hopefully it'll be around when I visit Vegas again in a year or 2.

we're not too worried. It's more of a nightclub atmosphere than an arcade. Most of their game inventory is X-box so groups can pony up for bottle/table service. It's 21+ and we're all about families and retro gamers. Also it's in a crap part of town in a space that was known for fights, stabbings and a shooting, which closed the previous club that was there before.

Nope, not too worried.

Back in '88 I used to go to williams pub/nightclub in uptown once in a while. It was a pretty hip place to be. We often saw celebs there. I remember uptown was quite a bit different at night than in the daylight. But even at night, it was nothing like hennepin or some of the other crappy parts of town. At the time I lived at Riverwalk (400 N 1st ST). 315 First Avenue North is just a few blocks from First Avenue night club (made famous in the movie Purple Rain).

If they don't have a private parking lot and security, it's probably a pretty risky visit at night.

I went to the one in Vegas about 2 months ago. I did not care for it. Most games were conversions and most had LCDs in them. I also didn't like the fact that no one the place knew anything about arcade games or their history . I would not go again
