Anyone know of a good place to buy a NIB Ironman for a good price? PM me with the contact info.

Oh, and I want the full/Pro edition, not the "Classic".

Thanks

Got mine up at Automated services in CT - he was listing them for 4100 (or 4200) a few months back. Even had signed Borg / Stern translite. Figure you end up 4350 - 4500 shipped.

Good luck - i have this thing for 5 months now and cant stop playing it. Incredible game they made.

Yeah, pretty good deal....but get in touch w/ Trent Augenstein [email protected] ...great prices and he has good savings on a shaker motor if you include it w/ your purchase. ...and you NEEEEEEEED a shaker in your Iron Man for the full experience. It's NUTS.

Plus 1 for trent. Grest prices for games. He quoted me a great price on one, better the amazon.

I got my Avatar from Trent, all good there

Questions for the Canadians:

How much duty would you be charged for bringing a $4300 pinball across the border into Alberta? I know that GST would be ~$215 but I can't find any type of duty calculator online.

Thank you

I did a bit more searching and read that there is no duty charged for bringing a Stern game from the US into Canada because it is made in the USA. Had no idea.

I'm planning on making some calls to confirm this but that sounds damn good to me, get the free shipping to Montana then make the short drive down to bring it across the border myself.

Looks like that Amazon price just went up, listing at $4,549.30.

Check with Jack at pinballsales.com, a lot of folks on RGP use him. I know of a couple people that got the best deal through him.

I'd start with Amazon @ $4217.63 which includes free shipping & no sales tax

http://www.amazon.com/Stern-Pinball...e=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1287880995&sr=8-1

Got one for the $4217 delivered, and I've VERY happy with this pin at this price! On top of that, I applied for the Amazon credit card and got interest free for 12 months on my purchase. Awesome.

I see now that it's gone up over $300, I'm glad I jumped on it when I did.

Here's my current pin lineup, LOTR LE and Iron Man. Love both pins, they really complete my home arcade IMO.

And for those on the fence about IM, it's an incredible pin and I too can not stop playing it! Fast paced, great music, challenging, and compliments my longer playing LOTR very nicely. I can see this staying here for a LONG time. Everyone that has played it that hadn't before loves it also..

Great pic up!

I played one at a friend's house. Scored 100,000,000 on the first ball, got bored, and let the others drain. Haven't played it again. (He's mad that I did that..didn't want to ruin his pin for him)

Love the sound on it! You going to put the shaker motor in it?

No way. Iron man is one of the fastest pins out there with fast drains at every turn... Including crazy random magnets that throw the ball straight down the drain and ridiculous side drains also.

If you indeed did get this score, I hope you got some video to prove it.. only way I would eve believe it, sorry! Even if you closed up the far drain lanes I don't see it happening unless you had a one in a million play on your first ball, knew exactly where to hit every special, etc. 10 Mil I would believe, and that would be a good first ball.

I would believe you more if you told me you got a Donkey Kong kill screen on your first man on your 5th game playing DK ever. :)

Wait, you're not Steve Sanders are you? LOL

That's impossible unless he closed the outlanes, put the ball save on max, made every other setting super easy so you could get Do or Die & Jericho without much effort.

I've played like 700 games on IM and haven't cracked 100m....granted, my game is set up a bit tougher...but still.

I'll ask him to snap a picture.
Why would I say it if it wasn't true?
As far as I know, he pulled it from the box and it is on factory settings. No funny stuff.

Just seems like an impossible thing to do, is all. It's a very hard game to score high on unless you get Do or Die (50 million hurry-up) To do it on your first game and first ball seems highly unlikely. If it is true, that means you must be so good at pinball to the point that EVERY game must be boring to you.

In 700 games, my high is in the 90 millions...and I actually made the outlanes one notch tighter! However it's pitched steep to play fast, and I made the Monger letters harder (you have to spell all of MONGER rather than starting w/ the 3 freebie letters).
