Cheap Squeak Deluxe causing Audible POP when switching out 12v coin door bulbs

I went to replace my coin door bulbs, and heard what sounded like a POP from the speakers. I narrowed it down to the Cheap Squeak Deluxe. What could be causing a grounding pop on the CSD via the 12v line?

It happens even with both the Lamp Driver board unplugged, and J5 of the SSIO board unplugged.

Why change the bulbs with the power on? I would imagine if your 12 volts for audio is tied to the lights too there would be some sort of surge.

Partially because that's how they did it at the arcade, and that's my only reference. They'd replace the blown coin door light as they came across them... while the arcade was running. Most power switches were unreachable (games being lined up against a wall, 'n such), so they didn't power them down unless the game had an interlock on the coin door.

I pulled out the schematic, looking for a diode-gone-bad, but it appears that there is none... which is interesting because the schematic makes it look like the 12v lighting is in parallel with the audio amp on the CSD.
12v Lights to J & G (pic1)
J & G to CSD J2 Pin5 & Pin1 (pic2)
J2 Pin5 through ferrite to amp. (pic3)

Audio POP when the light blows, and when it's installed. Unless I'm missing something.

Hmmm I'm no pro here but it does seem odd they run together like that, maybe it's just the game set up, I guess if it has no other Ill effects maybe it's fine and if it bothers you maybe pull the 12v from another spot? Sorry not much help just some thoughts, good luck!

What the hell game is it you're talking about?

I'm not at all surprised by this. The lights cause "thumps" in the game audio when they flash off and on and that's how the games shipped from the factory.

I wouldn't worry about it.
