Grabbed a Hyperdine Sidearms in a Williams cab. Also, a Pitfighter in a Centuri Track and Field cab today for a grand total of 60.00.

The Pitfighter (blah) works fine. The Sidearms won't power up due to a what I'm guessing is a bad ISO/supply.

I "pulled" the interlock on the Williams cab and replaced the one and only fuse I could find. 120v going in and very little coming out. (cab has the power switch in the upper right in the back of the cab)

Should I junk the Williams supply? I thought I saw in my searches a "rebuild" of this PS?

There is a switcher in the Williams cab but on the AC side it's not getting enough either. The monitor is the same (with power).

I'm wanting to pull the ISO and AC filter in the Centuri cab to make SideArms work. I'd much rather have that working than pitfighter.

Thanks

You can rebuild the Williams PS or replace it. Replacing it will be more headache, though. Bob Roberts sells Williams PS rebuild kits, I believe.

Which power supply is actually supplying the game board? Trace the wires in order to determine.

if you're not going to put a Williams game that uses the power supply back in then you might as well remove it entirely except for the isolation transformer. use Bob Roberts' diagrams and help page to rewire the power section. if you're still not getting the correct voltage out of the isolation transformer, Bob sells new replacements for about $12, and you can also install a working used one from a junk cabinet.
