cheap local Sea Wolf ($125) - should I get it and is it fun?)

Local guy has a nice working Sea Wolf for $125. I used to play it with my dad when I was a kid (he died when I was 10), so it's tempting, but I'm afraid it won't be as fun as I remember - not something I'll keep coming back to to play. Not sure I want to use a precious spot in my arcade on this if it's not fun. Anyone have one? Do people play it when you have get-together/parties?

The cabinet is really cool and it does have memories atatched to it, so that says yes.

Any advice?

It prolly won't be the same now, but I would be all over it if it was local and $125!! yeah, I played the shit out of it when I was like 14-16 years old in the late 70s.

yeah - that's the thing - the cabinet is freakin cool and the price is so LOW... decisions, decisions. I haven't gone to look at it yet cause I know if I do I'll leave with it. :)

Buy it!!! Buy it!!! It's a fun game and only $125!!

I hadn't played one in many years, until a few weeks ago when I played a couple games on ArcRevival's Seawolf. FUN game. It's a great looking cab and the game play is simple, but fun.
If it is in decent shape, I'd grab it if it's a game you are looking for.

That's all the answer that you need right there, you can't put a price on memories, but you have a chance to pick one up cheaply... Everytime you look at that cab, you can think of a good memory.
I'd say go for it. Damn the torpedoes!

If you don't want it I do..I have wnated a working Seawolf for awhile now.

I know a guy here who would buy it in a heartbeat. I fixed one for another guy a few weeks ago. It's kind of cool and looks cool, too.

Not fun to play if you're taller than 4-ft though. My advice - buy it - then buy a stool on your way home...
