Cheap Galaga in Detroit

I'm so glad I wasn't drinking my coffee... Here is the reply I got last night (8-10 hours after I replied). Pretty sure the price of $99 was correct... However, they just decided to try and get more.

"It is still available but the person who listed it for me read the paper wrong and it was suppose to be $199 not $99. I changed it and apologize for any inconvenience. If I can't get the $199 for it in a few weeks I will lower the price a little.

I have about 10 messages on this so I am not sure it will still be available this weekend but feel free to email me when you think you want to come"

Only an asshole raises his original posted price due to response. Now, that is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth. I've posted shit on CL and gotten dozens of emails... I've NEVER ONCE jacked the price up. I simply start with the first responder and work my way through the emails. The first to make an agreement to drop by gets first chance... if he doesn't show or doesn't buy, the 2nd responder gets a whack.

If you don't know WTF you have before you list, then you're an idiot IMHO. Again... take that for what it's worth.

I agree and that is how it should be. Too bad not everyone thinks like this... Greed sets in I guess...

Hey you never know what's going to happen with a craigslist ad. I found an ad for 2 pinballs a couple of weeks ago, and they were a decent price so i mulled it over for a day then emailed the guy. Not only did he still have them, but I was the first to respond. By the time I could get out there to look at them, he said he had 6 more people wanting to come out and see them. Long story short, sitting in my friend's living room waiting for me to free up some space are a pinbot and a space station pinball.

This is why i posted this..i was simply trying to help any detroit area klov'ers get the jump on a good buy..you never know whats going to happen...it can be sold in 15 mins or 15 days..i really appreciate when other klov'ers post great buy ad's on here for this community to take advantage of that i didnt know about.

She replied to me last night and said the price was $169! They need to make up their mind...

I really want to do a 60-in-1. That Galaga would be perfect for that, since everybody knows Galaxian is so much better anyway.

I have a galaga in nonworking / mint shape. $99, However, if I get to many replies I'll assume it's worth more than $99 I'll tell you that I really wanted $199 and I made a mistake. So, screw off!
