What would a cheap or common horizontal Universal cabinet be
to use a Do Run Run! or Mr. Do's Wild Ride arcade boards in?
Or can I get a different manufacturer's cabinet and use an adapter?
(sorry for the noob question)

I have both PCBs but no cabinet to use them in because it is
horizontal, not vertical.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Generic JAMMA cabinet with horizontal monitor, JAMMA <> Mr. Do! adapter, done.

Those two games (and the marquees were kits designed to be put into almost any horizontal cabinet.

There is still some speculation that there may have been a few factory-converted/ dedicated Wild Rides out there. I picked one up like 2 years ago:

And here is the flyer for Go! Go! Coaster, which was the original/proto Japanese title of Wild Ride:

Mr. Do's Wild Ride is a strange game.
Not sure how fun it is - haven't played much of it.
Really wanna get to Do Run Run! though - that's a great game.

those old cherry master cabinet can work. I got one for free awhile ago and ended up putting Vigilante in it. The monitor had no burn and I just changed the harness.
I have Mr Do's Wild Ride and we play it sometimes.
I still like the original Mr Do! much better.

Yeah, you can test it - but it will play sideways.
I have the same problem.

I have had a do run run pcb forever. Can anyone explain to me the history of this game in relation to Super Pierrot?
Its is said to just be the JAP version but why is do run dated 1984 and super pierrot 1987 then?
Mame says they both run on the docastle driver so I wonder if pierrot can be rom swap onto a do run.
It has always interested me because pierrot has much better graphics and animation.
Hack in the do run run title screen and you would have the perfect game.
