I'm about to pick this one up. Anybody know what this Chassis is? Gonna place an order with Bob and wanted to get some parts to fix it up. I haven't seen it in person and this is the only pic I've got of it.

Check the tube, before ordering parts.

Hard to tell from the pic but it looks like the end of the tube may be broken off.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing.......that monitor's WAY beyond a cap kit;).

Yeah I think the tube shot. I asked em if the pins were still there and he said yes but I'm not sure if he knew what I was talking about.

The front of the tube has black mark in the center. I was hopeing I get there and it was just dirt. Kinda doubt that.

I have a 19 inch TV I was hopeing I could tube swap with it.

Yeah the tube a goner. But fixing the chassis would be a good thing if my doner tube works. When I feel better I'll take this TV apart and see if it'll work. Never done this before so you'll see more threads from me on this topic most likely.

Anyhow I picked this machine up from Dayton yesterday. I'm feeling pretty sick so ain't done much with it. The tube is busted and the socket is stuck in the neck board where somebody used white glue on it.

Anybody have much luck with tubes from Sylvania TV's? This one appears to be from the 80's. Just hope it ain't a 20 inch.

Broken Socket

On a side note, why the hell would somebody cut a harness like this? Is this common?
