Trying to identify a WG 19" monitor chassis, there's a sticker on it that has two rows of numbers, the first ends in 7951 and the next in 7901 so I'm guessing it's one of these two models. I can't find any other identifying numbers and it looks like the pictures of a 7901 I found online.

Thanks in advance for any help!

you probably won't find much of any info on the different revisions.

wells made 47 different revisions and did not document any of them.

post a pic of your chassis.

unless you have a MED res model, then it really does not matter what 19" K7000 you have.

Thanks for the info. Machine is in my line-up now, below are the only pics I've got without moving it, not sure if they're close enough to decipher anything. It came out of a Dynamo cab running Soul Edge if that helps, think it was the original. I mounted it on the 4900 frame to get it into my Robotron.

you have one of the last revisions of the STD res 19" K7000.

a Standard K7000 kit will work just fine.

if you need parts i have them.

if you need it repaired, your welcome to send it in.

i have picked a bunch of games up back in your area. great area to find all kinds of little pockets of games. if your going to fix it yourself i have all the parts you may need in stock from cap kits to flybacks and everything in between. let me know if you have any questions with parts.

Thanks for the offer, it's working, was just curious about the exact model number and why it would have a sticker with both a 7951 and 7901 number on it.

one thing to keep in mind.

over the years, ops would mix and match equipment to keep games up and running on rout.

not saying this is true, but you could have an older frame and a newer chassis swapped onto it, or vice versa.

it does not really matter in the end what version goes with what yoke but i agree it would be kin of nice to know.

if wells would have done a little documentation, some of the revisions and how they decided the numbering system worked, it would not be so mysterious.

i would love to know, but have never been able to see any kind of pattern or real logic to their system.
