Saw an ad for a chase hq on CL and had to ask if this an easy fix or what it might be. Im thinking its the board but have no clue about the electronics of a game. Is this an easy fix and what do you think the game is worth? been looking for a chase hq for a while but ive always wanted a 100% working condition game.

This is what it says in ad: *Here is a breakdown: The Chase HQ was working, but now has some sort of glitch. Sometimes it goes on, sometimes it doesn't. When it goes on, it's playable, but sometimes it will glitch while playing and just start looping through start up diagnostics. I replaced the light bulbs up top and did general maintance trying to fix it up. This may be easy fix, but I don't know much about electronics so Game are being sold AS-IS.

Burnt connectors on the interface board and/or the gameboard.

thanks, is this an easy fix?? new to the hobby and have no clue what im doing yet. would a new board fix the problem or is it somthing thats needs the attention of someone who knows what they are doing??

This is a very common problem on Chase HQ and Continental Circuit machines. The repair was detailed here a few months ago if you do a search. Very simple just chopping off the wires, splicing, and bypassing the problem board.
