Visiting some relatives in NC, just North of Charlotte. Moorseville area I think. Are there any good arcades to visit? My wife is going shopping on Sunday, so it's either find something to do or go to an outlet mall. I know it's kind of short notice but...

If you go to Concord Mills Mall there is an arcade in the Nascar Challenge and there is a Dave and Busters. There are a few members up there that may have more info.

My store isnt open yet (Nov 1) But I have my arcades there and Im working there everyday til it opens. University Area by UNCC.

Dave and busters has the best selection of games but their credit system is stupid and Im never sure how much money I am spending.

Concord Mills used to have an FYE arcade but that one closed down so now just the Nacar and DandB ones are there. There is also Blind Pig in the NoDa area that has a few games (its also a bar) and there is also a place I havent been yet in Southend called Tilt- also a bar.

And lastly if you want some WOW factor and you feel like going for a drive, LyonsArcade (a fellow KLOVer)in Rockhill has a bunch of great games in amazing condition for sale at his store(but you can also play some of them)

Take about a hour and a half drive down i-85 to Greer, SC and come see my arcade! Rounding about 20 at the moment 2 pins, etc!

Man, that is so tempting. Although, my wife would kill me for going that far out of the way. Thank you for your gracious invite. Besides, come Monday, it's a 10.5hr drive back home. 3hrs is the car Sunday would just do me in. :D

Do any of you guys have either a 25" standard-res monitor you're looking to part with, or possibly a whole cab? I'm open to something that's not working...as I think I can fix a monitor when service info is available and it hasn't bee "sabotaged"

Long story short, I bought a Mortal Kombat cab that I'm pretty certain the seller filled it with nothing but bad part (had a bad power supply, bad monitor chassis, bad monitor tube, and I think audio is bad on the PCB, but game at least plays with no audio in another cab). I'm pretty much ready to give up on this monitor, between it being a no-name brand, and also the tube likely being bad.

Thank you all for responding and the invites. I finally made it home. Almost 10 hrs of driving and only 2 pit stops for the kids. Not bad at all. I did make it to SavePointVG's shop and would to thank him for his hospitality. Check out his shop when you guys in the area get a chance. Looks like it's going to be a great place to hang, chat and trade.
