I might be able to pick this one up and I'm just wondering your opinions on it! I haven't been able to find a vpt or future pinball table for it to try it out.

Yeah, I saw that video. It does look like a decent pin but I wish I could get something with a little more to do like ramps etc. I still have to see on the condition of it before I even touch it.

Well I am considering selling my Mars god of war pin if you make the long boat ride over to Nova Scotia. I am just getting the last of the bugs done on mine it is a sys80 pin.

I kinda dig the Gottlieb games and the displays look sweet IMHO. They do not seem to get the same love as the Bally and Williams games of the same era.

I believe it was Shardian who restored one not to long ago.

Like spoon said, it is a System 1. Not really a whole lot going on but that is not always a bad thing. Some sys1 games are favored than the others. You can read some reviews here:

I personally have a Sinbad(another sys1 game). It is actually my second one. Completely went through mine and touched up the playfield. Traded it for another pinball shortly after. When the one i have now popped up, i had to have it as i really regret getting rid of the first one.

Do you know what condition the pin is in? Working? Any issues? If not already done, you will need to re-pin all the connectors inside the backbox, all the ground mods and remote battery.

I posted this in your other thread. Charlie's angels is a decent system one pinball machine. If it's in decent shape and reasonable I'd go for it. If you pick it up check out these web sites. http://www.pinrepair.com/sys1/index.htm

Yep, that is my vid.

It is a pretty fun pin. I liked the layout of the pop bumpers and drop targets. Once you complete the red targets or the rollovers, the real fun begins. The only knock I had on the game was the worthless left "loop". I use quotes, because it is worthless. It will not send the ball up into the rollovers, and there is no target up there. It will slam the rail, hit the glass, then roll back down to the upper slingshot, where it will hopefully shoot across and hit some white targets.

My wife was sad to see it go, which is funny because she HATED it when I first brought it home.

Make sure to get it cheap if non-working. I originally paid $300 non-working, and I drastically overpaid! Assume that all the boards are bad - they probably are.

Unless the condition is amazing, don't pay more than $150 IMO for non-working.

Non-working, as in dead? Here's the big question to ask the seller....What are the displays doing? Are they displaying anything? Are they "locked" up? If the displays are blank....you've got more issues than a "missing driver board".

If the price is right, I'd say go for it. As others have stated, bringing a system 1 back to life can get expensive. Hell, a repro MPU board is $200(US). Dead spider chips on the MPU....or the MPU board ate up with battery damage isn't uncommon.

What's the asking price? Two threads, and no mention of the price?

Charlie's Angels would not be at the top of my want list. It's a Gottlieb System 1, and they are not the easiest to work on. The chips on the CPU are NLA, so if they go bad, you need to find a donor or parts CPU to pull them from. The gameplay on Charlies Angels is so-so. If you are going to get a Gottlieb System 1, try Joker Poker or Sinbad.
