Got my 60-1 from nix and it comes up great except the screen is too big for my monitor. I flipped switch 4 to go into test mode but I am stuck there. My cabinet doesn't have a test switch wired (Might have bare wires. Will have to check tomorrow). It has 1p, 2p and one fire /jump button. What an I missing?

A little touch up and a credit button wired and she'll be ready to sell.

Thanks Steven

Adjusted the screen size via a knob on the monitor. Works great but still doesn't help me maneuver though the test screen.

This is going to be a fun project and a tough one to let go.

Thanks Steven

Find the 48-in-1 FAQ here and read it. Monitor adjustments are done on the monitor. Test Menu adjustments are done using your control panel...

I went to test mode and it had a bunch of squares (Manual said this was for adjusting screen size.) I moved the joystick and hit all 3 buttons but it would not leave that screen.

Thanks Steven

That is just an image for you to use as you adjust your monitor from the controls on the monitor..you should see h. size and v size adjustments on the back of the monitor as well as h and v position. Its much easier to adjust a monitor with a screen like that up than say with a game in attract mode.

Screen size

I adjust the colors on the 60s on the grid screen in the test menu. I adjust size and position with the Ms Pac game playing. Dig Dug is a good one to check your brightness on.

You need to hit the test and/or service (can't recall which) button again to leave that screen.

Is that on the PCB or do I need to have that wired from my Jamma cabinet? No service switch or button was wired for my cabinet.

Thanks Steven

Here is a link to the manual.

You can enter the test mode by flipping dip switch 4 to on. Or holding down the test or service switch during power up. You will need a service switch wired to scroll through the menu screens. (although, I believe I have read that Mod has figured out how to do it from the control panel) Make sure after you make an adjustment in the menu screen you press either player 1 or 2 start button to save the setting.
