Damn it, of course it's the one Mario Kart game I'm not an expert at. If this was N64 or Wii I would be indestructable. :D Mad props for doing that well on DD, the engine seems wonky to me compared to the others (a bit more realistic maybe?) so I've always found it the most difficult of the series.

The hard part is that the game cheats like crazy if you keep coming in first place, you will see an obscene amount of blue shells, and you will even find stopped green shells in your path in the first lap, like on Bowser's Castle just before the final turn. There is no way the computer controlled racers to put those there. The game just puts them there!

It took my wife and I a couple years playing before we got the perfect score on the all cup mirror mode. The game cheats that much!

I have the game, but no-one to play with.... :(

Ill have to check,we play DD regulary and spent alot of time on the mirror tracks.I might have a score close.

would be awesome if me and my wife could play you and yours somehow online, what charectors and cars do yall use? i use baby mario and toadette with the blue mario kart.

We mostly use the turtles with Toadette's cart.

We could play online we would need network adapters for our game cubes and run warp pipe software on computers in our homes.

I'll play you online, if you don't mind a "loner" vs your couples teams ;)

I doubt we ever came close to any kind of decent records in DD. We played DD for a while, but once we got the golden car, my wife lost interest so we didn't play much after that. I don't think I've booted DD up in years.

Here's hoping for a MK64 3DS remake.

SO,my son has deleted ALL of our data for mkdd! he said he needed more space on the wii or something? I still would like to see if we could play online so i can KICK some ass! will check into it today, new competition would be fun.

Natively, you cannot play GC games online with the Wii. There may be similar tunneling software like was linked above, however. I've never looked into that, but I imagine it's possible. However, since the Wii doesn't have the same LAN setup that the Wii did, I don't know if the GC mode of the Wii could even access the USB/Ethernet port or Wireless of the Wii hardware.

Nintendo is the Debbie Downer here, friend :( They made a good system, but limitations like this are a kick in the balls.
