Does anybody either A. know how to fix a 'chirping' Pentranic CH-288, or B. know a good chassis that uses the same tube/yoke? I've got a Golden Tee 2005 that this that was swapped into, apparently it originally had a Neotec of some sort in there... they replaced the chassis with this one, and nobody apparently has done much web-documented work on them.

I did the lightbulb trick, it ticked on off with the ticking, leading me to assume (LOL) that the problem was in the power supply. I've recapped everything in the power supply, replaced the 8 pin i.c. on the subpower board, tested all the resistors, replaced the FET, and checked the HOT.. everything tests out fine in the power supply. Still it ticks.

Anybody got any suggestions? I tried contacting Rick about it but he's a very busy man and doesn't have time to answer email questions about stuff he was involved with years ago.

well i've shipped this board out twice to 2 repair people Both of them Charged me 80 bucks plus shipping first guy i waited awhile before i had the cabinet back here so by then it was too late to say anything still ticked, Just got the chassis back put it back in the cabinet still ticking so i guess i'm screwed again
