Ok...Modessitt posted about this monitor regarding some issues with it and I came to have a brand new one that I was testing out....First I disconnected the touchscreen feature since I don't need this for regular video game use.
First issue was that the chassis is wired for 230V now I know there are ways to wire the iso transformers etc for 230V but why bother when we use 120V...and actually the chassis is made to be converted back to 120V in literally 5 min...you just have to cut some a few resisters out and capacitors and install one jumper...and no modes needed on your game..
Now the problem..I wired a jamma style board to test and have picture but can't get it to sync..the screen rolls right to left...no adjustment that is on monitor takes care of it..anyone familar with this style monitor know how to get this thing to sync with jamma..I guess i will try something other than jamma to see if I get different results...the monitor is VGA and I have the jamma board settings for VGA so its displaying picture properly..just can't get it stop rolling...I'm wondering if some mode needs to be done on the chassis like I did to get the 120V...any ideas would be good..I've done all the possible combo's on sync I can think of ....pulled up monitor on Ceronix website...but I think I need another set of eyes to see what I'm missing...
