century dartboard questions

did some checking. Removed all the old stuff. The american darts aka cougar matrix and board is bigger so i had to remove one brace internal to the cabinet, however it has the same bolt holes and the connector matches up. Powered up the game and it does register scores correctlyusing this larger matrix.

So i will have to go ahead and hack this machine to accept the bigger head. Once its done at least ill have a bigger target ( lol) and furthermore if i need segments later( and it does need some) at least i can get en anywhere as they are ( hopefully) the same size as cougar ones..

Also, if you ever decide to part it out, I need that matrix part, or whatever its called, to make my 5, 20, 1 & 18 work, right?

probhanly from the way you describe it but i couldnt tell you for sure unless i came there personally and plugged it in lol..

once ive got this bigger head installed and working i will be happy to make you a deal on my old stuff.

bieng the seller didnt tell me the head had some broken segments, and im not a total a hole, weve worked out that they are going to give me a discounted price on this playfield surround and ill just buy segments on my own from happ. That will give me a proper template for the bigge rhole im going to have to make, so its a win win for everybody i suppose.

Hey guys (and girls), I recently acquired one of these century boards and it is missing the fuse that goes in back, next to the power switch. I'm clueless to what it was and am wondering if anyone can help me out with replacing it. Thanks.

Oh and conversion complete. I have successfully installed am american darts head, switch matrix, and surround plexi.

Other then marking my centerlines and cutting out the wood, it was an easy swap.

I used the american darts plexi as a guide and marked the wood to be cut. Cut it with a jigsaw because i dont have a router, then put the plexi on the cabinet, then screwed the darthead to the cabinet after making sure to align with the center marks i made and ptu her all togther.. viola!
