3. Anybody know if anybody reproduced the plexi and the cardboard bezels? (typical scratches of peoples names in the plexi and the cardboard has tears) I could make my own cardboard but I would prefer to save the time and buy a repro already done. Also thought about trying to buff out the plexi but that always goes bad. Other thought was to try and turn it around and see how bad the scratches show
Try Novus Plastic Polish on the Plexi, I've gotten very serious scratches out with it. I use a cheapo B&D car polisher to apply it to large areas. If the #3 formula doesn't get it out try sanding it with 800 grit first, then using the #3 to remove the sanding marks.
Novus has saved my butt on many projects.
