I just found a working pcb to replace the one that was dead. I made a rookie mistake and put power to the "working" board before checking all the voltages at the edge connector. You can tell where this is going. Of course the "working" board didn't work either. Got strange beeping from speaker and P1 and P2 buttons stayed solid red while monitor showed black screen with rapid horiz. rolling streaks of green. I then backed up, disconnected edge connectors and checked voltages. Got +9.65V at +5V pins and -1.7 at -5V pin. Found toasted resistor at R29 (10 ohm) on ARII board. Replaced resistor and now have good +5.15V. Don't have the 7905 to fix the -5V problem yet. Hooked up "working" pcb again and now get loud hum from speaker with white screen and rapid horiz. streaks of black. My question is what did I fry on my pcb? How can I test it? Where can I get parts to fix pcb? I plan to get Bob Roberts kit for the ARII. Thanks.

Wow...

You could've fried any and all chips on the board. I would consider that board unrepairable.

Sounds like you might also need to replace the edge connector on the harness.
