Anybody got any ideas? I attached a pic. I can still tell by the sound that the game is going on. I can hear it take quarters. I can control and vaguely see the guy at the bottom of the screen.
Just looked at a few of the other threads and saw how detailed the checking on my end needs to be. Is this a case were I need to do voltage checking, or is this a monitor issue. I just watched the video on arcade repair vids how to check the voltage, so I can do whatever anybody thinks is best.
The pix is too small, so check the monitor B+ first, then do a cap kit. Dried out caps in the vert def circuit can cause a small pix. Oh....and its out of H sync. Check to make sure H sync is making it to the monitor board then adjust the H freq to clear it up.
Is this something that just started happening, or a new machine which may have been modified? If a new machine, have you verified it's a Centipede board (Millipede/Centipede have different pinouts). Sorta looks like the wiring to the monitor is bunged.
